Publications in 2018
2018 has started with two publications of LEAP projects:
Most recently, a multi-authored publications from the micro-climate workshop the Phillipa Gillingham and Isobel Bramer organised in October 2018 as part of the micro-climate research project, funded by Leverhulme that Phillipa leads. Isobel Bramer and Philippa with help from the other authors did an amazing job getting the publication ready before the deadline of this special issue on biomonitoring.
We had lots of fun with thermal imaging cameras while exchanging ideas for biomonitoring.
LEAP's own Chris Marsh produced the amazing picture for Figure 1.
Earlier, Cici Alexander's second paper got published in the Int. J. Appl. Earth Obs. Geoinfo.. This paper shows how micro-topography and crown characteristics influence the tree height measurements for tropical trees obtained from LiDAR images.
