LEAP at Bournemouth University is keen to work with local, national and international organisations, businesses and communities to find bespoke solutions to real challenges. Our matched funded PhD studentships offer an opportunity for your business or organisation to work together with our researchers on challenging research projects that address signi cant innovation needs through critical investigation and resulting in independent and original contribution to knowledge. This scheme provides your business or organisation with subsidised, high quality research and access to University knowledge and expertise.

What’s Involved?

Duration: 3 Years matched funding

Financial cost to organisation:

Stipend £7500 per year over 3 years

Project Costs: £1000 per year over 3 years

Subsidy by BU: Up to £22,500 per year (fee waiver and 50% stipend)

Additional optional involvement by organisation: Supervision, Access to information, Logistical Support

The current call for a studentship start date of September 2018 closes already on the 8th January 2018 - but sometimes further call open later in the year.
